B.S.E Chemical Engineering: Case Western Reserve University, 2012

Brian was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland where he graduated in 2012 with a B.S.E. in chemical engineering and was president of the Case Juggling Club. After working in industry for a few years designing adsorption systems for landfill gas reclamation, Brian decided to return to pursue his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Brian is currently a 4th year Ph.D. student conducting research on redox flow batteries for applications in energy storage. In his free time Brian enjoys juggling, hiking, biking, playing soccer and doing night photography.
