Erika Orona (She/Her/Hers) coordinates the Public Achievement (PA) program and the Leadership Studies Minor, both programs which are part of CU Engage, the Center for Community Based Research and Learning. She is a first-generation with her A.A. from Front Range Community College in Psychology and B.A from CU boulder in Psychology with a minor in Ethnic Studies. During her time in undergrad Erika a peer mentor and TA for PCDP and a Tutor and Volunteer for a couple of BVSD and SVVSD Schools. In the past Erika has worked with PA as an undergraduate Coach and TA, Program lead through Americorps Member for the past 4 years. Currently, Erika is also a Graduate student at CU Boulder in the MAHE program. 

Erika was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado. She is passionate about equal access to education, immigration, and equity for BIPOC and marginalized communities. In her time off Erika enjoys spending time outdoors, Reading, Engaging in Webinars, finding good movies and music, and spending time with friends and family.
