Position
This position is a paid, part-time internship. It requires approximately 60-100 hours of work from Spring to Fall 2024. Salary is $16 an hour.
The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at CU Boulder does not currently offer any courses specifically designed to support Spanish heritage/bilingual speakers who are interested in furthering their language abilities in an academic setting. In an effort to remedy this gap, this curricular project begins with a needs analysis that will gather information about the challenges of Latinx-, Spanish heritage/bilingual-identifying students at CUB, and their interests, needs, and reasons for studying (or not) Spanish in an academic context. This information will then be used to create and/or redesign coursework and to identify exclusionary practices within the Department. Read more info.
