Ula Adamska

Ula Adamska is a PhD student in the Communication Department, where she also teaches courses on language, culture, and identity. She is interested in how culturally variable communication resources are used in communication practices to accomplish locally meaningful and appropriate forms of interaction. Her research focuses on Hispanic communities in southern Colorado and she explores how people connect with places and construct place-based identities. She has enjoyed fostering interdisciplinary connections through the LALSC cluster and learning about other members' projects.
