My current work addresses how space and "occupations" (in things that occupy our lives) co-construct each other by looking at how Denver's foodscape shapes and is shaped by the Mexican migrant community. I got involved in the LALSC graduate research cluster to connect with other researchers interested in Latin American and Latinx issues. I've enjoyed the events put on by LALSC, which have enriched my experience as a graduate student, and the various forms of support I've received from LALSC.
