Taylor Sharpe is a Postdoctoral researcher working to find new ways to support low-cost, scalable environmental monitoring. His research has focused on the design and deployment of IoT systems to monitor water use and quality, air quality, and various other environmental parameters in projects across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Western United States. In the BEEM Lab, Taylor focuses on the design of scalable sensor solutions to produce actionable soil quality and agricultural data. Taylor spends his free time climbing and running in the mountains, skiing when there's snow on the ground, and playing music.
