Kaitian Mao earned his B.S. in Chemical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2019. He completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the same institution in 2024, specializing in high-efficiency and stable perovskite solar cells. In December 2024, Kaitian joined the McGehee Group as a postdoctoral associate on the perovskite team. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and playing video games.
