Beth Mason (she/her)

I am an undergraduate student seeking my second bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences with a minor in Geography (GIS). I have a BA in Journalism/Political Science from Metropolitan State University and a JD from the University of Maine School of Law. I have worked in the research field for the last seven years, most recently at UCAR/NCAR, and am excited to make the transition to working as a scientist. My interests are in applied sciences, working to translate research into actions that protect people and property. I have a particular interest in climate change and severe storms.
