New Study Launch: Hormones & Hearing

We’re excited to launch a new Catalyst-funded study examining how auditory function may change across the menstrual cycle. This pilot study will investigate whether naturally occurring fluctuations in reproductive hormones are associated with changes in hearing and cochlear function across different phases of the cycle.

By combining repeated auditory testing with hormone measurements, our goal is to better understand how female reproductive physiology may influence the auditory system—an area that remains surprisingly understudied.
