New Publication

In a new publication in collaboration with the Rabani group at UC Berkeley in ACS Nano, Sherman et al. investigate hot electron cooling in negatively charged CdS quantum dots. They found that these hot electrons cool relatively slowly and the cooling is governed by the phonon bottleneck, reaching the lower limit for the rate of hot electron cooling in quantum dots.
