Michael J. Watts was a graduate student with Dr. Linden from 2004-2008 and graduated with a Ph.D. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Duke University in 2008. During his time at Duke he researched oxidation and photodegradation of emerging contaminants in water. After graduation, he went on to work as an Assistant Professor at Florida State University. Currently he is a Senior Process Engineer and Water Technology Leader with Garver and Associates in Dallas Texas.
