Liesbet Oalerts was a graduate student with Dr. Linden from 2016-2018 and graduated with a MS in Environmental Engineering in 2018. During her time at the University of Colorado Boulder she researched rural water preventative maintenance models for USAID Sustainable Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Systems Learning Partnership, a consortium of eight organizations working in four countries applying, researching, and learning about systems-based approaches to improve the sustainability of WASH services. After graduation she went on to work as an Environmental Development Specialist with the Rural Community Assistance Corporation in the San Joaquin Valley, CA.
