Jeanette Neethling was a graduate student with Dr. Linden from 2013-2015 and graduated with a MS in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Engineering for Developing Communities in 2015. During her time at the University of Colorado Boulder she researched nutrient recovery from source-separated urine using fecally-derived biochar and other methods. After graduation, she went on to work as an engineer at Partners in Development in South Africa.
