Evan M. Owen received a B.S in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 2016. He received his M.S. in Environmental Engineering in 2019 from the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His work focused on ceramic microfiltration membranes coupled with ozonation to enhance the filterability of waters containing natural organic matter in respect to advanced oxidation treatment for potable reuse applications. The work allowed him to visit Holland and work at the Het Waterlaboratorium in Haarlem, as well as help run a pilot-scale microfiltration/ozonation system in Wervershoof with the company PWN Technologies (PWNT) for 3 months. Currently, he works as a consulting engineer for CDM Smith focusing in all things water, but primarily water treatment and process design.
