Ben is a Postdoctoral researcher in Environmental Engineering. His research at CU Boulder focuses on understanding molecular-level responses of viruses and biofilm-bound bacteria under UVC irradiation and UVC applications in water treatment and healthcare systems. Ben completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His doctoral research focused on investigating trace organic contaminant removal and microbiome in biofiltration systems for drinking water production.
