Amanda Connell

Amanda received her BS in Civil Engineering from Seattle University.  After working with developing and struggling populations in San Jose, Costa Rica and her hometown Spokane, WA, she decided to come to Boulder to study environmental engineering and engineering for developing communities.  Her research is called "Toxicity analysis of produced and flowback water from hydraulic fracturing using the biological toxicity assays Ames II fluctuation, Yeast Estrogen Screening, and bioluminescence inhibition".
