Autonomous Systems Fabrications Lab

Our Autonomous Systems Fabrications Lab, room 221, is set up as a dirty production room where we do the build, testing, and repairs for our drones. It is 32' x 33' and contains many manufacturing tools and equipment. This is where the final touch-ups after cut and design takes place. There are lots of tests and run-ups to ensure that the drones work properly for projects. The lab also stores the aircraft when it is not in use and doubles as a workspace for students to work on projects. 

Our equipment in the lab includes:

• 3 3D printers for AVS printing
• Soldering stations
• Drill press
• Sanding and grinding equipment
• A full suite of hand tools
