When the collection arrived from San Antonio, it was shipped in large wooden crates approximately eight feet high, twelve feet deep and six feet wide. There were 382 boxes, containers and tubs of fragile documents. Over the past two years, a team of students and volunteers have contributed to developing an item–level inventory of items in the collection. After completing a rough survey of materials in May 2014, an item level inventory of the materials began in earnest over the summer months.

As of December, 2015 we have catalogued nearly 3,500 books and have begun the lengthy process of rehousing and categorizing all the items in the collection. Our goal is to produce a finding aid that will allow researchers to search by keywords and categories to find the material they are interested in viewing.
