Victoria Lanaghan is Assistant Director of Idea Forge and Design Center Colorado. She has worked in CU’s College of Engineering and Applied Science since 2008, beginning as a student employee in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She earned bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Integrative Physiology from CU Boulder in 2012 and has since held positions in Mechanical Engineering, the Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory, and now Idea Forge, where she has worked since 2017.
In her current role, Victoria works behind the scenes to help ensure that the spaces, resources, and partnerships that support hands-on learning are available when students need them. She particularly enjoys helping students navigate complex logistics and strengthen their technical writing and communication skills (and she would be happy to sit down with you for a 1:1 resume review!).
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys traveling to national parks with her truck (her name is Wanda), attempting to photograph wildlife before it runs away, reading fantasy novels, learning new home improvement skills, attempting to keep plants alive, and, most of all, spending time with friends and family.
