Zhuldyz Tokbulatova

Originally from Kazakhstan, Zhuldyz Tokbulatova received BA, MA and a Candidate of Science degree in Geography from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She was doing research on the National parks system in Kazakhstan, the role Kazakhstan plays in the world economy and the image of Kazakhstan in Russia. Besides that, her interests include the language and themes of modern Kazakh literature, women in the culture, Kazakh folklore and fairytales and the post-soviet bilingual society. Zhuldyz also tutored 2nd and 3rd year Russian students helping them in their language journey at the department.
