Job Summary

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures periodically hires student hourly employees, with the working title of Student Assistant.

Who We Are

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures houses programs in German (BA, MA, PhD), Russian (BA, MA), and Nordic Studies (minor).

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Your key responsibilities will be general office duties, faculty and student support, or a combination thereof.

These appointments are temporary in nature and for current CU-Boulder students. 

What We Can Offer

Student Assistant I: Entry/Semi Skilled, salary range of $12.32-$17.13/hour*
Student Assistant II: Intermediate/Advanced, salary range of $12.32 - $20.12/hour*
Student Assistant III: Specialist/Lead, salary range of $13.43-$23.11/hour*
Student Assistant IV: Paraprofessional, salary range of $16.95-$29.18/hour*
*pay rates are as of AY 2020/2021, rates generally change every year.  Contact the Student Employment office for current rates. 

Benefits

Student hourly employees (Student Assistant) appointments are eligible for accrued sick time. Sick time is earned on a prorated basis, and is calculated at .034 hours for every hour worked.
