Faculty members are entitled to apply for course banking. They must submit their request in a timely fashion for consideration by the program head and the department chair. Banking/unbanking cannot be guaranteed and depend on the program/department’s needs. A faculty member can request to bank no more than 2 courses over 3 years. Requests should be submitted by October 1 for the upcoming academic year.  Late requests will be also be considered, if schedule adjustments can be made within the program. The request should also indicate when the faculty will unbank the given course (no later than a year after its offering).  Faculty with a departmental administrative position (chair, associate chair) must also obtain approval from the associate dean.
