Amy Griffin

Amy Griffin graduated with a BA in German and a BS in astrophysics from the University of Oklahoma. She has studied abroad in Germany, Austria, and Japan, and received a fellowship researching ultra-diffuse dwarf galaxies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating, Amy moved from Colorado to Japan, where she taught English at a STEM high school for two years while reinforcing her Japanese fluency. Her research interests include fairytales, medievalism, and the mythology of both Japanese and Germanic cultures.
