German Goes Radio

GSLL students in GRMN 2020 and GRMN 4010 produced their own broadcast with the help of Elvis Katticaren, media trainer and radio host of the popular German radio station Radio Köln. The radio project, sponsored by the German embassy in Washington DC, gave students the opportunity to learn about media culture in Germany and produce a professional short contribution for radio. The organization Kult Crossing, committed to dialogue between youth and culture, provided technical support for students to record interviews discussing German politics, the environment, and cross-cultural influences.
