GSLL held its annual German career event on March 14 at the UMC Aspen Rooms. The event provided undergraduate students enrolled in German classes with an insight into some of the different career paths and opportunities available to them – both in Colorado and beyond - and a chance to hear first-hand from experienced professionals who are already succeeding in such careers. Students were able to network with local businesses that require the German language/culture knowledge by nature of their services. They also sought advice on employment and internship opportunities from the Dr. Nayantara Ghosh, the honorary consul of Austria, and Marcel Pitton, honorary consul of Switzerland, and talked to GSLL alumni and former CBYX participants about their applications processes and career developments.
