Since its inception in March 1995, the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC) has been here to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA) and allied students, staff and faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder. We provide

  • information dissemination and referral,
  • a supportive community space,
  • educational, cultural, and social programming, and
  • advocacy and voice for the LGBTQIA community at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Our Mission:

Guided by the frameworks of social justice and inclusive excellence, we support the academic, social, and professional development of all LGBTQIA students, staff, faculty, and their allies.

The GSC is part of the Division of Student Affairs:

The Division of Student Affairs values the diverse backgrounds, histories, identities and life experiences of every member of our community. We strive toward inclusive excellence in making our policies, processes, and actions socially just and equitable. We celebrate and embrace differences. We are committed to welcoming and including diverse groups and perspectives in building a climate in which all members can thrive in an environment where they feel at home, welcome and safe.
