How to Join

Fraternity and Sorority Life at CU Boulder is made up of over 30 chapters officially recognized by the university. Each chapter participates in either new member recruitment or intake during the academic year.

Recruitment is the designated period during the fall and spring semesters when students attend a series of organized events to meet fraternity or sorority members as part of the process to join an organization.

Intake is the membership education and induction process for students to join a culturally based organization.

Continuous open bidding/365 recruitment is the informal process our chapters use to recruit new members outside of the primary recruitment period.
