Michelle Travis

Michelle Travis is the Cash and Debt Management Specialist on the Boulder campus and also has a split appointment working in the Treasury department.  In her current role she works on special projects related to Boulder’s external debt financed projects.  She is also the campus resource for debt and other treasury related inquiries. Michelle previously served as Deputy Treasurer at the CU System office. Prior to returning to the University of Colorado in 2016 she spent 15 years at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR). Early in her career she held several positions at CU including in the CU Boulder Applied Math department, CU Boulder Licensing department and the CU Treasury department.   

Michelle is a proud graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder.  In her free time, she enjoys skiing any runs with Colorado powder on them and riding gentle mountain bike trails.
