Chief Operating Officer Patrick O’Rourke has announced Todd Haggerty as the new vice chancellor and chief financial officer for CU Boulder, effective October 17. The CFO reports directly to O’Rourke and oversees CU Boulder's Finance and Business Strategy organization.

Haggerty, who currently serves in the same role at CU Denver, will replace CFO Carla Ho’a, who earlier this year announced plans to retire. Ho’a will remain onboard through November 30 as Haggerty transitions into the CFO role.

Haggerty has served CU Denver since 2016, first as associate vice chancellor for budget and in his current role of vice chancellor and CFO since December. Most recently, he has led the development and implementation of a new incentive-based budget model on the Denver campus, increasing transparency with the annual budget process and improving alignment of resources with the university’s strategic priorities. Prior to CU Denver, Haggerty served two and a half years as CFO for the Colorado Department of Higher Education following a role as senior policy specialist for the National Conference of State Legislatures in Denver.
