Kristen Alipit has joined the Finance and Business Strategy leadership team as director of organizational effectiveness and engagement, effective April 1, 2020. In this role, Alipit will develop and deploy strategic initiatives to improve employee empowerment and engagement, and she will provide oversight of the administration and implementation of human resources policies, processes, and best practices in the Finance and Business Strategy (FBS) organization.
Alipit started at CU Boulder in 2016 as executive aide to the senior vice chancellor, and most recently served as innovation program manager in the Office of Data Analytics. She manages both the FBS Fellows Program and the Strategic Resources and Support Innovation Program and will continue to lead these initiatives into the future. Before working at CU Boulder, Alipit spent more than a decade at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) in their finance and administration and human resources departments.
