Dr. Maryam Shakiba
Associate Professor, Ann and H.J. Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences

Dr. Shakiba directs the Multiphysics Mechanics of Materials Lab, where her research bridges solid mechanics, degradation physics and chemistry, and AI to predict how materials behave in extreme environments. She is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and the AFOSR Young Investigator Program Award.
