I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at the University of Colorado Boulder, and an affiliate faculty of the Department of Applied Mathematics. I received my P.h.D in Information Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2011. I was a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota from 2011 to 2014. I started my appointment as an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018.

My background is in the broad areas of Optimization Theory, Control, and Learning. The objective of current research efforts is to advance theory, algorithms, and analysis for decision systems and information systems. Particular focus is on the development of optimization, control, and learning methods for network systems and cyber-physical systems governed by complex physical, behavioral, and computational interdependencies. Application domains include power and energy systems, transportation systems, and healthcare.
