Mark Werner

Mark Werner has worked at the intersection of communication and technology for thirty years. He has been a technical editor, researcher, assistant professor, and IT administrator. He holds a B.S. in technical communication from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University. He edited a award-winning technology publications; and taught courses in technical communication, web design, and usability testing. He is associate director of OIT’s Academic Technology Design Team, and the Arts and Sciences Support for Education Through Technology (ASSETT) team. Mark has been engaged in the contemplative practice of centering prayer since 2002. He is active with Contemplative Outreach of Colorado.
