Join us in a free panel on book censorship and honoring the right to read in K-8 schools and libraries. The panel will include a local teacher and parent, a librarian, and children's book authors to discuss the current climate on book challenges.
Opportunity to purchase the festival authors’ books, signing, and a reception will follow the panel.
Open education resources created by School of Education students available for free download (e.g., resources from past festivals include author slide shows, book discussion guides, digital book trailers and class projects)
On Thursday, October 26, authors and illustrators will visit several Colorado elementary schools for an author visit (by invitation)
