Ix Chel Bueno

Ix Chel is the Undergraduate Program Professional, and a Spring 2025 graduate from Colorado State University. Ix Chel is excited to join the Ethnic Studies department at CU Boulder as this is a continuation of her passions as she received her B.A. in Ethnic Studies. Understanding the need for Ethnic Studies, she is continuously devoted to ensuring that it is a program that students can continue to benefit from, as Ethnic Studies helped shape her worldview and her ability to communicate with others.

Though Ix Chel is a recent graduate, her time at CSU allowed her to engage in several student-facing and administrative positions. A staff member ready to engage with the students, staff, and faculty at CU Boulder with an open mind and a positive attitude.

In her free time, Ix Chel can usually be found spending time with her friends and family or watching the newest release at the movie theater.
