In this Stuart Foundation funded project, we aim to learn from leaders of youth organizing groups across the state of California about how their organization’s work with youth is contributing to youth development and statewide systems change. Based on multiple interviews and focus groups, we will develop a series of research tools synthesizing findings on current youth organizing strategies, youth development practices, and advice from California’s youth leaders for foundation allies. We will plan to share findings with youth organizers, philanthropic allies, and others engaging in creative learning spaces. Stay tuned for more information.
