Help make Buffs basketball sustainable! Ralphie's Green Stampede, the nation’s first collegiate sports sustainability program, needs volunteers this season to keep CU Events Center zero waste.

Volunteers start 1-2 hours before tipoff, help vendors and fans sort waste, and keep stations clean. Perks include free game access, a t-shirt, and a meal ticket.

Mark your calendars for Valentine's Day fun and bike over to the CU Rec center! The Rec is teaming up with the Environmental Center and Infrastructure and Resilience to host a station on Friday, Feb. 14 from 7-9 am. Stop by the Rec Center plaza (or front lobby if there is inclement weather) for hot beverages, grab and go snacks, and cool swag. Pledge to ride at BikeToWorkDay.co.

Biking to campus is a great way to stay active and be eco-friendly, even in winter. Whether you’re a student, faculty or staff member, you can join the Boulder community for Winter Bike to Work Day on Feb. 14 and ride to campus. Stop by the Rec Center Plaza from 7-9 a.m. for hot beverages, snacks and swag.  

Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to do something nice for anyone in your life you appreciate! As you celebrate, remember to keep sustainability in mind. 

Black History Month has been recognized in February since 1976 in the U.S. Many departments, including the Center for Inclusion and Social Change, Center for Student Involvement, Dennis Small Cultural Center and the Center for African & African American Studies, have events this month for Buffs to gather, learn and celebrate together.
