New Green Labs Shared Equipment Core & Wish List

student green labs core

CU Green Labs just launched a new shared equipment core based off of many aspects of the previous BioCore model. Luke Wheeler, PhD, started this summer as the Coordinator and for some equipment has been able to pick-up where the BioCore left off several years ago. In the future, we intend this core to expand and serve the needs of students, staff, and faculty beyond just biological research. Check out our Green Labs Core webpage and learn about the BioCore model on this page.

WISH LIST - Our current needs to service existing equipment and meet researcher requests:

  • Electronic vacuum gauge (e.g. Labconco digital electric vacuum gauge)
  • Freezing Point Osmometer (e.g. ELITechGroup FreezePoint)
  • Small refrigerated centrifuge (with rotor for 1.5/2mL tubes)
  • Probe Sonicator (e.g. Fisher Scientific 550 Sonic Dismembrator)
  • Agilent TapeStation
  • High vacuum pumps (rotary vane or scroll)

Please email greenlabsCORE@colorado.edu if you have any of these items to donate.
