Disability Services organizes workshops and training sessions for students and families throughout the year.
High school vs. college: Navigating the transition
Going to college can be a significant transition for both students and families. For many, this will be the first time they are separating from family and moving toward independence. This transition can be exciting and bring up concerns all at the same time.
This virtual workshop will help students and their families understand what it means to transition to a university, especially with a disability, and what steps to take in order to receive support from Disability Services at CU Boulder.
*This workshop is open to all students and families. You do not need to have a disability to participate.
Navigating disability accommodations in law school
This presentation will help students registered with Disability Services and enrolled in the law school learn how to navigate their accommodations while taking classes. Discussion will include how accommodations might look in a law classroom.
Learn about our new note-taking assistance software, Glean, available to students approved for the "note-taking with an electronic device" accommodation. During this workshop you will learn how to access this software, enjoy a demonstration on how to use Glean and discuss ways to implement in your notes.
