Senior Access Coordinator
Irene Christoforou joined Disability Services as an Access Coordinator in January 2023.
Education and experience
Irene joined the University of Colorado Boulder in January 2023 and currently serves as a Senior Access Coordinator. Prior to joining the university, Irene practiced occupational therapy in skilled nursing, long-term care and outpatient settings. Irene received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University and received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University. Her professional areas of interest include adaptive fitness/recreation, assistive technology and universal design. Outside of the office, Irene enjoys powerlifting, exploring the outdoors, traveling and reading.
