Assessment

  • The Enrollment Management leadership team completed a structured training curriculum to build capacity and competency for advancing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within their unit.
  • The learning assessment conducted after the three-month curriculum showed increased diversity, equity and inclusion knowledge.
  • Through the curriculum and assessment, the leadership team identified learning gaps and will continue capacity building during the 2024-25 academic year.

Action 2

Evaluate the internal diversity, equity and inclusion committee's roles and responsibilities to create structural changes that better guide and advance the unit's diversity, equity and inclusion priorities.

  • An evaluation of the internal diversity, equity and inclusion committee's roles and responsibilities was completed, resulting in a committee restructuring.
  • The committee is now more representative of the unit and includes people from all levels of the organization, emphasizing shared equity leadership.
  • The committee conducted an exercise to identify diversity, equity and inclusion priorities for future-year planning.
