Consulting

One of the toughest parts of any problem can be properly defining it. The generalized problem is known because it creates a need for the user, but fully describing this problem can be a difficult task. Ideate/Brainstorm

Generating, developing, and communicating ideas is where the creative process begins. During ideation the aim is to generate a large quantity of ideas that the team can then filter and cut down into the best, most practical or most innovative ones in order to inspire new and better design solutions and products. Ideation provides both the fuel and also the source material for building prototypes and getting innovative solutions into the hands of your users.

Design

From the brainstorming and ideation stage we narrow down the field to the best solutions that cater to the needs, capabilities, and scope of a project.  At this stage we can create a model to determine specific features, practicality, and feel of the design before building the prototype. In this phase of the engineering process we decide if we are building the right "it", before building "it" right.

Prototyping 

As soon as we have landed on an acceptable design path, we begin to hone in on the specific design and aspects of the project that will make a solution perform to specification. We begin by creating low-level prototypes to gain feedback from users and uncover aspects of the problem not thought of before. By listening to user feedback we can quickly and cost-effectively iterate and move towards an elegant solution.

Testing

After a prototype is built we will begin testing. Regardless of the product, intended user, or developmental stage of the product testing is crucial to determine if the product or project serves the original need statement. By testing your product or project in appropriate conditions, we can continue to iterate towards a viable cost-effective solution.
