Stephen Bradley Jackson

Stephen Jackson serves as the program manager for the Black Diaspora at CU Boulder’s Center for Cultural Connections & Community. Now entering his third year at the university, Stephen is deeply passionate about supporting students in discovering and pursuing their own definitions of success. His work centers on holistic student development, with a special focus on helping students uncover their authentic selves, a joy he finds especially rewarding through his involvement with the Men of Excellence program.

Before stepping into his current role, Stephen spent two years as a campus-wide academic advisor, where he thrived in guiding students through their academic journeys. His transition to The Center reflects his commitment to supporting students not just academically, but personally and culturally.

Originally from Chicago (and a proud Chicago Bears fan), Stephen’s educational path has taken him through Morehouse College, Miami University (OH) and Syracuse University—experiences that have shaped his own identity and fuel his dedication to helping students do the same.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys watching comedies, playing College Football 26, and spending quality time with his wonderful wife, Melisa, and their cat, Ted.
