PEEPs

Peers Educating and Empowering Peers

The Peers Educating and Empowering Peers (PEEPs)  work as a team to bring Buffs together to lead conversations, build community and create positive change at CU Boulder.

PEEPs are student leaders who are passionate about social justice, equity and inclusion. They help facilitate programs, workshops and discussions that encourage learning, connection and growth across campus.

What PEEPs do

PEEPs support our mission by helping to:

  • Create spaces where students feel seen, heard and respected
  • Lead conversations about identity, inclusion and social issues
  • Build stronger relationships across cultures and experiences
  • Encourage critical thinking and dialogue around equity and justice
  • Support a more connected, informed and engaged campus community

Through education and shared experiences, PEEPs help foster a campus culture rooted in:

  • Mutual respect and understanding across differences
  • Stronger interpersonal connections and communication
  • Awareness of identity and lived experiences
  • Action-oriented learning grounded in social justice and intersectionality

Together, PEEPs help develop civically engaged students who are prepared to lead, collaborate and contribute to meaningful change—both at CU Boulder and beyond.
