Puksta Scholars Program Now Accepting 2016-17 Applications

Interested in a Scholarship to Help Change the World?

The Puksta Scholars, an exemplary undergraduate civic engagement program, is accepting applications for 2016-2017 new scholars (due March 1, 2016).

This program provides a $4500 scholarship for students to develop projects that bring about positive change within our campus and communities. Puksta Scholars are supported in this work by advisers and by regularly meeting as an inclusive community for reflection, workshops, and technical assistance. Projects have included working with Engineers without Borders to develop a water collection system for a village in Nepal, creating videos to help the Veterans Helping Veterans raise funds, developing strategies to close the digital divide in Lafayette, and organizing a Women in Leadership Conference.

Want to learn more about the program and how to craft the strongest possible application?
