My primary research interests are in random unitary circuits, the measurement-induced phase transition, and related topics; in particular, I have worked on entanglement and information-theoretic transitions in “open” random unitary circuits, and on the effects of measurements on critical many-body states. More broadly, I am interested in nonequilibrium dynamics, both quantum and classical critical phenomena, and applications of quantum information to many-body physics.
