I am studying the ultrafast dynamics of strongly correlated systems. To be specific I am interested in understanding the role of quasi-particles in the relaxation dynamics of cuprates by using different optical pump-probe techniques like optical second harmonic generation and broadband optical reflectivity. In addition, I am interested in non-reciprocal phase transitions in quantum materials.
