Matthew P.A. Fisher

Matthew Fisher’s recent research interests lie at the boundary between many-body condensed matter theory and quantum information theory, focussing on collective quantum dynamical behavior far out-of-equilibrium. He is especially interested in “monitored” quantum systems, wherein the competition between measurements and unitary gates can drive novel non-equilibrium dynamics in multi-qubit systems.
