Immanuel Bloch

My research focuses on quantum simulations using ultracold atoms and molecules using novel tool such as quantum gas microscopy that allow for a microscopic detection of the atoms in a spin and density resolved wat. With such quantum simulators our group explores both ground state and non-equilibrium quantum phenomena especially in strongly interacting systems.
