Topological Chiral Superconductivity in Flat Band Materials

We propose a beyond-BCS mechanism for superconductivity, inspired by the recently observed chiral superconductivity in rhombohedral graphene system. We derive the topological order and the conductance properties of these new types of superconductors. To see that this can be manifest at suitable densities, we perform variational Monte Carlo calculations on both the chiral superconductor ansatz and the Fermi liquid at general dispersion of combining quadratic and quartic dispersions.
